The International Society for the History of Physical Education and Sport (ISHPES) will hold its 2026 Congress in Taipei, Taiwan, from August 18 to 22, 2026, hosted by National Taiwan Normal University.

Abstract Submission Opens: December 10, 2025
Deadline for Abstract Submission: March 31, 2026
Notification of Submission Results: April. 20, 2026
Deadline for Early-bird Registration: June. 5, 2026
All abstracts must be submitted through the ISHPES 2026 online submission platform.
Abstracts should be between 250 and 400 words in length and must clearly articulate the research question, methodology, and significance of the study.
Abstract of the proposed paper including: the question(s) addressed, the evidence used, a precise statement of the argument and conclusions.

Please include a brief biography of the author(s), consisting of 50 to 100 words.
Submit your abstract and a brief biography by Mar. 31, 2026 via online paper submission system.
At least one author of accepted abstract should register and complete the full payment before the Early-Brid Registration deadline, in order to be included in the program of the 27th Congress of the International Society for the History of Physical Education and Sport (ISHPES 2026).
Please kindly comply with the deadline regarding to the abstract submission, and you may revise the abstract before the submission deadline. After submission deadline, authors cannot make any revision to the submitted abstract.
